Rep. Benson’s Foundation Empower 20 Ikorodu Youths with Mini – Buses

A total of 20 mini – buses, popularly called ‘Korope’ in the local parlance, were distributed to 20 youths as part of Rep. Babajimi Benson’s empowerment for the youths in Ikorodu Division.

The re – elected lawmaker carried out the initiative through his operational team, iCare Foundation, while the presentations were made to the lucky beneficiaries, at the Rep. Benson Federal Constituency Office, Ikorodu, on Friday.

Former Commissioner for Agriculture and Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asipa Kaoli Olusanya, the Director – General, iCare Foundation, Mayor Muhydeen Sanwoola and Mr Aro Moshood Abiodun were on ground to congratulate and present the buses to the beneficiaries who were full of joy for the lawmaker’s kind gesture.

iCare DG, Mayor Sanwoola, speaking with THE IMPACT, said that the gesture was part of the lawmaker’s empowerment and provision of alternative means of livelihood for the youths in Ikorodu.

He charged beneficiaries to make good use of the buses.
